Comparing and contrasting different organisational structure and culture 

Organisational structure is very important for creating the framework for receiving the order and command of the activities of the various organisations like Mama Mia and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay can make a plan and control the various goal and objectives of the organisation. The structure highlights tasks, roles, responsibilities and communication process. In the UK, most of the restaurant has entrepreneurial, functional and geographical structures. The structure of Mama Mia has mainly followed the functional structure (Barlett, 2016, p.147). This is because this structure mainly focuses on grouping activities as per the convenience of specialization. Specialized skills are important to look after the various functional area of Mama Mia. In the case of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay follows the geographical structure. This is because the structure fully focuses on the location. Various types of services can be provided through geographical boundaries as per the demands of the customers. Mama Mia serves Italian foods and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay serves French cuisine

2 Explaining the impact of the relationship between an organisational structure and culture on the performances of a business 

According to Cavusgil et al. (2014, p.55) after the analysis the structure of Mama Mia it is quite clear that Mama Mia uses the functional structure for their restaurant. The main activities of the organisation occur due to the group efforts of the employees. Therefore, the main power is not in the hand of any individual, due to this fact for taking any decision Mama Mia can face various problems and may not come to the conclusions. Mama Mia must employ some professional management for the betterment of the restaurant.  Mama Mia is serving Italian foods but the organisation is situated in the UK. Here has a big difference in a culture so they can employ some UK culture basis food for the customers so that their food limitations will be decreased. Mama Mia has a different culture but the customers of UK can get different cultural food in their own country, this may add extra value for the Mama Mia restaurant (Mellor et al. 2014, p.194).

3 Discussing the factors which influence individual behaviour at work

There are three types of factors can be influential for individual behaviour are stated as the individual group, the group, the organisation (Zingg et al. 2015, p.212). The individual is the main feature of the behaviour for any organisation. Incompatibility occurs when the need for the individual and the organisation, this may be the result of various conflict and frustration. Then the management of the organisation has to solve the problem and can unite both the individual and the organisation for providing the proper environment where the need of individual can be fulfilled and the needs of organisations can be satisfied. In this way, Mama Mia can solve their arising problems. Pettigrew (2013, p.47) stated that the group is another factor here individual need to work within a group and in this way one can inspire other and the pressure of the group can handle by the proper way.  Mama Mia can include this factor for the betterment of their restaurant. The organisational structure and culture affect the individual behaviour of the organisation.

1 The style of leadership in different organisation

In order to carry on any organisation, there is a vital role of the leadership. There are different types of leadership style. In every type of leadership style, there is the existence of both advantages and disadvantages. To achieve their goal the organisations need to choose the leadership, which suits their organisation perfectly. The leaderships are included autocratic, participative, transactional and transformational.

In the case of Mamma Mia, this restaurant follows the participative leadership style. In this style of leadership, the organisation inputs a team to make a decision about their goal but it is the responsibility of the team leader to fix the final decision. The managers and team members of Mamma Mia fix their goal together and it is necessary for the employees to follow the instructions, which are given by the leader in order to complete their goal. By following, the proper steps of the participative leadership style the Mammas Mia restaurant can able to reach their goal and can get the proper market value (Stone, 2013, p.51).

Restaurant Gordon Ramsay follows the transactional leadership style. In this leadership style, the manager of the restaurant gives a goal for the employees to perform and based on the performance the employees get the reward. In the case of the employee's bad performance, the manager of the restaurant gives the employee punishment. In this style of leadership, it is also necessary for the employees to follow the given instructions of the managers. Based on the performances the manager selects the correct employees in order to conduct their next goal.

2 Explaining the organisational theory underpins the practice of management

The organisational theory is an important part in order to develop business. In the case of Mamma Mia restaurant, the organisational theory is considered as their main part of their business. This theory is about the relations of the employees with the organisation and the business planning of the organisation (Carlström and Ekman, 2012, p.175). For more development of business, there are various types of organisational theory. For the case of Mamma Mia restaurant, the organisational theory underpins the management system in the different business system. To reach the goal is the main need of any company. To increase the business Mamma Mia restaurant needs to make a good commercial profit. Organisational theories help to create a new aspect for the employees. In order to develop the process of the business of Mamma Mia, the managers, and the employees can adopt various organisational theories. The organisational theory is one of the effective ways to develop the business of Mamma Mia. In order to achieve their goal, the restaurant needs to improve their business process. With the help of a developed business plan, Mamma Mia can make their popularity and can increase their commercial profit.
