Main aim of the present report is get an insight on health and safety practices at city College. Along with that the work responsibilities of each of personnels has been clearly enumerated. It also enable the readers to understand about the significance of contiguous monitoring and implementation of health and safety policies.
1.1 Health and safety Systems, policies and procedures
Health and safety policies and procedures are an utmost means to reduce the amount of accidents from the workplace and also aids in preserving the life and health of the workforce. In regards to the City College, the board of directors and other personnels reduces the amount of incidents and promote safe as well as secure environment in the company by the means of following systems and procedures:
Training is the most essential system through which the employees of the respective company can be made aware about the health and safety policies. Furthermore, care planning is another essential factor or ways in which the health and safety policies can be implemented successfully in the respective organization. Herein, standard measures are taken by the personnels of City College which will aid in procuring the people from all sorts of peril. For instance, installing sign boards at different areas which are in danger (Vasconcelos and et.al., 2016). Providing proper lightening and bulbs at darker sides of college. Keeping the floors and verandahs clean and tidy as well as ensuring floors are not left slippery.

Health and safety executives:These are the bodies or authoritative that are engaged in formulating several acts and standards in the best interest of the workers and services users. The areas of the city college is inspected by the health care executives and then notice is being provided to the employers in regards to the improvements or prohibition of certain acts.
Employers:There main duty regarding the health and safety policies at city college is to ensure that the polices and practises of the respective organization is in compliance with the current legal requirements (de Celis and et.al., 2017). Along with that, they are also responsible to look after the environment of the college. These involve, proper sanitation and water facilities have been undertaken by the management or not. The computers and other systems or equipments are properly working or not and is not obsolete is ensured by the employers. Furthermore, training is also provided and undertaken by them so as to ensure proper communication is being made.
Employees: The teachers and other personnels are the workers of the respective organization. They are responsible to implement the above laid policies and procedures in the manner as stated by the managers or employers (Nielsen, K. J., 2014). Furthermore, they are also obliged demonstrate the respective hazards and risk regarding the equipments or any other amenities to the top level staff members.
Top and middle level management: The top level ensures that proper equipments and health safety policies are placed in the city college. However, the middle level is responsible for monitoring and controlling of above enumerated policies and practices.
