This is an imaginary case study for students to practice procurement and risk management concepts.

The individual has following major deliverables:

• Select a project for your target company.
• Background of the project case.
• Report the best project delivery method for your project which you think is crucial. Be aware that type of delivery method to be analysed are Design-Bid-Build and CM@Risk>. You must report all assumptions and rationale for selection of project delivery system. All you suggested gradings (the criteria, weights and scores) should be with justifications and explanations.
• Recommend the best financial contract type which are crucial to this project. The types of contract to be evaluated are Lump sum, Guaranteed Maximum Price and Cost -Plus Fixed Fee contract. All grading must be justified and explained.
• Determine the best procurement method which is crucial to this project. The type of procurement that need to be evaluated are Competitive, Negotiated and Best Value. All grading must be justified and explained.
• Develop Risk Management Plan including Risk Register, Risk Quadrant Analysis and risk mitigation plan.

Marketing Criteria and Rubric: The assessment will be marked out of 100 and will be weighted 30% of total unit mark.
