    Project Scenario:

    Organisational Culture is a set of knowledge, experiences, philosophy, as well as the values that guide employees behaviour, and is expressed in their self-image, inner workings, interactions with the outside world, and future expectations. Organisations use their performance by introducing and adopting these values which are founded on respect and understanding. Organisational culture also highlights an organisation’s vision, values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits. Organisational culture also influences the person’s and group’s performance and also has an impact on the wider community.

    You are required to choose an organisation to research for your report.

    You are appointed as an HR manager of the organisation and need to evaluate and observe  the culture of your organisation because you wish to take the initiative of improving performance through implementing an appropriate organizational culture.

    Discuss and analyst the various organizational cultures and motivational theories, and to identify which ones can be found in your organization. The discussion must then evaluate how the above-mentioned theories influence behaviors within organizations and how this affects the performance of each organization.

    Scenario and activity:

     You are required to produce a report that explains and evaluates what makes an effective team as opposed to an ineffective team for achieving business goals.
    Choose  a specific goal and identify what team structure would be most likely to help achieve the stated goals and any related objectives.

    This  report must include following:

    1. Identify group and teamwork development theories (for example, Belbin, Tuckman, and hard and soft skills) and their effectiveness.
    2. How the team could achieve the goal the desired result and produce  detailed  discussion on team performance analyzing team dynamics, team members’ roles and behavior. You should include an explanation of what factors are instrumental in teams effectively achieving their objectives and identify those aspects which threaten successful achievement and cohesive group work.
    3. Analyze various factors and skills that guide or hinder effective teamwork. You also have to required to use appropriate concepts and philosophies regarding team performances and the impact on behaviors including how they can be applied within an organizational context and in a given business situation.
